Information on Paddle Canada Sea Kayaking Level 3
This course will take place over two weekends in September or early October. The teacher/student ratio is 1:4. If you are interested in doing this course, please let me know. The dates will be set in consultation with the instructor (Ray Boucher) and those interested in taking the course.
Timeframe: 5 days over two weekends
Pre-requisites:

Paddle Canada Level-2 Skills certification or equivalent skill and knowledge.

Tripping experience: extended trips of 2 or more days totaling 10 overnights.

Wilderness First Aid (16 hours) with CPR is strongly recommended.

VHF radio operator’s license is recommended.

Bronze Medallion swimming and life-saving (or equivalent) is recommended.
Cost: $675.00
Payment: In order to hold your place in the Level 2 Level 3 Paddle Canada courses, a 20% or $100 deposit (whichever is more) is required upon reservation. Final payment for programs is due 30 days in advance of the start date. We can accept cash, cheques and internet transfer. Upon reservation, we will provide you with an information package, including a recommended list of clothing and accessories. A liability waiver must be signed before the program begins. This will be done when you arrive.
